TINGLEY ANNOUNCES LOW CUT AIRGO BOOTS
Press Release
Piscataway, NJ
October 1, 2019

Tingley announces the addition of the low-cut boots to the Airgo™ Ultra Lightweight EVA footwear line.

Don’t let the ultra-lightweight fool you. These boots are durable, tear resistant, and long-lasting to help you get the job done. The walls of the boot are flexible and will stay supple in the cold to ensure comfort while walking and bending. Cleated treads spit out debris to provide good traction on a variety of surfaces including grass, mud, gravel and concrete.

“Our customers love the ultra-lightweight Airgo and asked us to make them available in a lower height version. I’m pleased to announce that we’ve done just that with the introduction of #21121, Airgo Ultra Lightweight low-cut EVA Boot”, said Robert N. Petersen, Senior Product Manager for Tingley. These highly versatile boots are super comfortable, are easy to put on, and are ideal for jobs around the house including walking the dog, gardening, and cutting the grass.

Another interesting feature of the Airgo boots is their remarkable self-insulating properties. According to Petersen, “Similar to how Styrofoam® cups and coolers work, millions of tiny air bubbles trapped within the material are self-insulating to keep feet warmer in the cold and cooler in the heat.” Lightweight, yet durable, these boots are 100% waterproof and come with a removable, triple layered insole that wicks perspiration, promotes faster drying and is contoured and cushioned to absorb shock for all day comfort.
