Second purchase of Tingley "overshoe" for general purpose. Field and woodlot.
Thicker construction than original pair. (Brute) is fairly adequate description. Medium fit (9.5 shoe size), tight fit but that's the idea.
Have worn in wet and snow over Redwing Heritage work boot and Chippewa Logger. Tough to get on/over Vibram sole of Redwing but better with more frequent wear.
Satisfied with tread and construction with one caveat. Heel of left overshoe compressed and has not "sprung back". Would offer two thumbs up except for that. 1 Thumb up!

I needed something that would fit over my hiking boots. Easy on and off, definitely keeping my feet warmer. A bit awkward at first but they kind of mold to the sole. I used these for work 30 years ago and they have improved. Tough. Durable.

sprinkle the metatarsal of your boots with baby powder the first few times you put on these overshoes.

I am 65 and still commute by bus four days out of five. I quit leaving my car at the Park 'n' Ride after its catalytic converter was stolen, and began hiking to the bus stop (one mile uphill at 5am, one mile downhill at 5pm). Living in the Puget Sound area I needed protection for footwear that was comfortable but less than waterproof. Found Tingley online and ordered an XL pair of Workbrute G2s (my first rubber overshoes since grade school) for size 12 sneakers. Took awhile to wrestle them on, but a snug fit is necessary. They add weight to the foot but also spring to the step; and after doing their job once the rainy season started, I ordered a second pair for size 11 heavier shoes so as not to have to wrestle the first pair off and on; also to serve as a spare, since the remaining questions are: how well will the Workbrutes hold up, and how long will they last? So far, no complaints.

I haven't had them very long so I can't say anything about how long they last. However; I wear a size 14 double-wide, wide square-toe boot and the 2X Large size of these overshoes fits easily over my boots. I imagine a size 15 would be snug but doable. There's a little trouble removing them but nothing terrible. They are fairly light weight compared to others that I've tried. So far, I recommend these.
