Our crew prefers the Tingley Bomber over the insulated Carhartt jackets. These have a better range of motion when raising your arms and the vents under the arms help cool you down when busy with winter work.

I purchased this jacket about 6 years ago. I work for a company whose moto is $afety Fir$t, so all they provide is a silly vest and dark blue jackets for winter. I do 24/7 on-call and this is my go-to jacket, especially in the middle of the night. Even with temps at -20, I can do most of Chicago's winter with just a hoodie under this bomber. After 6 years of great service, the waterproof is not what is used to be so looking to replace it. I was looking at the Bomber II, but I have grown to like the warmth, and softness, of the fleece in this jacket in the bitter cold.

I purchased these jackets for my maintenance and driver team and they absolutely love them. They work in the elements daily and these jackets keep them warm and dry. Recommend buying.

Very pleased have used the same jacket in the past for working in Construction. Very well made and very warm. My son wanted his own so bought 2 new ones. Highly recommended product. Very visible and comfortable in the bad elements.
